The AASD prides itself on providing our youngest learners with the opportunity to participate in a quality early learning program in a play-based model. Appleton’s 4K develops the whole child by balancing critical early reading, writing, and math skills, with the social and emotional skills necessary to be successful in school and throughout their lives.

We welcome you to reach out to the 4K sites you are interested in learning more about. They'd love to talk to you and offer you a visit!

The parent/guardian should be prepared to complete an online application containing demographic information, emergency contact phone numbers, name and phone number of your student’s doctor/dentist, medical information, proof of Appleton Area School District residency and language information.

After your student’s online application has been submitted, you may be asked to provide a birth certificate and immunization records to your student’s school.

For families who would like to observe a specific teacher-directed class, we ask that you contact the community site to schedule a separate observation. 

To be considered for transportation eligibility, you must live in the neighborhood school attendance area aligned with the 4K site selected. Transportation will be provided according to AASD K-12 guidelines.
